So some things that i know i deff need for my video are
my vases- the one of the wrong color and the one of the right color.
a picture of my dress, and the dress i first wanted that was out of stock.
i want to use the statistics i have to compare my experience and the average wedding
i also think i want to show the invitation, and the flowers.
I’m not sure yet how i’m going to put it all together though.
I need to figure out our wedding song so i can play it in the video.
I also need to figure out how to show davids bridal being rude to me when trying to buy my dress
I think i want to run my 3 ideas by a few people in class tomorrow to see what one they like best.

Hey Sara,
I really like your ideas. I think you have a lot of things to do but will be able to pull them off really well. Have you figured out your wedding song? That’s gotta be something hard to establish. To show the whole david’s bridal thing, you could do like a pan of the sign with a voice over, or maybe there’s a youtube clip of somebody being mean to someone else that you could use. Just some suggestions! Good luck!

I thought your storyboard in today’s class was good. It seemed like you had your ideas down and had something to run off of. I like how you want to include the right/ wrong vases as well as your dress and the out of stock one. I think that will only add to the amount of stress planning a wedding has on someone. The statistics will help you as well. If you start your film out how you wanted to from the storyboard, I think it’ll be effective especially if you move into the more personal side of things… what planning your own wedding has done to you. Good luck.

Sara–
Don’t get hung up on going to David’s Bridal. the story is important to you, sure, but you could film a row of dresses, or create a sequence of still photos of dresses, etc.
It seems like you have more than enough ideas about visuals here; think carefully about how each one will work to represent the ideas that you want to get across. How do you want to return to the “Bridezilla” idea at the end of your film?

Sara,
Given your interest in contrasting your personal experience with the “idealized” image of weddings, I think you can do a lot with found (or “stock”) images online. I’m curious about where you plan to include language and what this will say (voiceovers? Textbox?)
